Dr. Stancell is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Board-Approved Supervisor. With over a decade of experience in mental health and addictions counseling, she has dedicated her career to supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families in finding clarity, healing, and resilience. A proud graduate of Howard University and the Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Stancell furthered her commitment to clinical excellence by earning a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, DC Campus. Her educational and professional journey reflects a deep dedication to evidence-based care and client-centered support.

Dr. Stancell's therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered principles, emphasizing the importance of trust and connection between the therapist and client. She integrates cognitive behavioral techniques to help individuals examine thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors.
