Dominique Davenport

Dominique is a compassionate and caring therapist based in Prince George’s County, Maryland. With a Master of Science degree in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University Maryland, and a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor approved to practice in the state of Maryland by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. She brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to the therapeutic process.
Dominique employs a diverse range of therapeutic orientations, including psychodynamic, humanistic, and interpersonal approaches. This integrative style allows her to tailor each session to the unique needs of clients, fostering a safe and supportive environment for exploration and growth. Dominique specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavior modification in children, teens, and adults.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dominique is committed to creating accessible and inclusive therapy experiences for individuals from diverse backgrounds. With a deep understanding of the complexities of human emotion, trauma, anxiety, attachment styles and relationships, she strives to empower and educate clients to navigate their challenges and achieve their personal goals.
Dominique has worked and advocated for marginalized communities and continues to advocate through research regarding Critical Race Theory, Racial Identity and Racial Socialization to increase awareness and education of these powerful and important constructs.
