Mona Baguira, LMSW
Therapist
Mona views therapy as a collaborative and supportive process grounded in care, curiosity, and respect for each person’s lived experience. Mona strives to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, understood, and empowered to explore what they are navigating at their own pace. She values building strong, trusting relationships and works alongside clients to identify strengths, develop coping skills, and move toward meaningful and sustainable change.
Mona’s approach to therapy is integrative and strengths-based, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities and theories including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic theory, mindfulness and expressive arts interventions. She has experience supporting clients experiencing depression, anxiety, C-PTSD, interpersonal issues, the impacts of domestic violence, and everyday life stressors.

She has engaged in advocacy related to social justice and human rights at both the state and federal levels. This work informs her clinical practice and shapes her understanding of how social, cultural, and systemic factors impact mental health and well-being. She approaches therapy with an awareness of power, identity, and context, and strives to offer care that is affirming, culturally responsive, and attuned to the realities clients face beyond the therapy room.
